Our fully equipped workshop specialises in professional saxophone and clarinet repair services for musicians throughout Hawke's Bay and across New Zealand. Whether you're a student, teacher, hobbyist, or professional performer, we're committed to keeping your instrument playing at its best.

 

From minor adjustments and annual servicing to pad replacements, clean, oil and adjustment (COA) services, and full overhauls, we use quality materials, specialist tools, and years of experience to restore your instrument's performance and reliability.

 

While saxophone repairs are our specialty, we also provide expert clarinet servicing and repairs with the same attention to detail. Customers visit us from across Hawke's Bay, and many safely courier their instruments from throughout New Zealand for professional servicing.

Monday–Friday: 4:30 pm – 8:00 pm

Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Our Repair Technician Duke

Music has been my passion for as long as I can remember. At just six years old, I picked up my first instrument, and a few years later I discovered the saxophone—the instrument that would shape my life. With guidance from inspiring tutors and countless hours performing in local bands, I developed not only my playing ability but also a deep understanding of how a saxophone should truly sound and feel.

 

My journey into saxophone repair began in 2020. I realized there was a shortage of skilled woodwind repair technicians in Hawke’s Bay, with most players sending instruments to the major centres, That sparked my decision to train in instrument repair and dedicate myself to serving the local music community here. 

 

I had the privilege of studying under Bruce Marking, a master woodwind repairer with over 40 years of experience. His mentorship has been invaluable in developing the skills I now use to restore instruments with precision and care.

 

Today, I’m proud to support musicians and students throughout Hawke’s Bay and across New Zealand by offering saxophone and clarinet repairs that keep instruments playing beautifully.

 

My goal is simple: to help every player—from beginners to professionals—enjoy music to the fullest by ensuring their instrument performs at its very best.
